How to Make Browsing Safer for Children in Google Chrome

Are you worried that you kids might be getting exposed to the dangers out there on the Internet. There have been increases in lots of child related cases that started from the Internet. As a parent, it is one of the foremost duty that one should protect their kids from the on line dangers.  Plus with so much mature content out there that is easily available to view, it can be a nightmare for the parents to supervise on line time for their kids.

As you can see from the option below, there are numerous sources that filter out the content on the Internet.

Here is an example. This website has been rated suspicious.

(We all know what lurks out on chat roulette now)

Now for a really bad site, the whole screen will black out. Here for instance, hotbabes.com (certainly not for kids).

Please notice the two links at the bottom of the ratings screen Both will be visible if the “Allow entering unsafe sites Option” is not disabled.

Here is the  “Allow entering unsafe sites Option” disabled.

Clicking on the “Find Kids Sites Link” will navigate the tab to the Yahoo! Kids website.

The extension will also place “ratings buttons” beside search results at Google.
