Man texts Greece to get rescued in New Zealand. Seriously ?
Yeah. Some thing that no one will ever understand. A person from Greece,on a holiday in New Zealand. Gets lost in a forest while out hiking with his friend. Calls his family back in Greece to ask for help since he is lost.
Why wont he just call the local authorities ? I mean how hard is it to dial 911 or what ever the New Zealand Emergency number is. I dont think you even need to know the code, as many phones have to ability to dial local country’s emergency line. You dont even need a Sim Card for it, in case the guy was worried about roaming charges, but then again he is already on a different continent so why would he be worried about that.
Any how, his family was able to contact the Greek Authorities which then contacted the New Zealand Authorities. From which the local authorities were alerted and the man found.
I still dont get it.. Why..
